Robotic Fulfillment

Caja offers a robotic mini-load ASRS for goods-to-person order fulfillment.

Our robotic fulfillment solution for unit picking increases order picking efficiency and storage capacity of warehouses, whilst improving the work environment of warehouse employees.

We achieve this without large investments in warehouse infrastructure, as the robotic system adapts to the warehouse and not vice versa, by using existing infrastructure like flooring, mezzanines, shelving, and boxes.

Caja Robotics is ideally suited to brownfield warehouses, where the system can adapt to present infrastructure as well as scale and respond to future needs.

The Adaptive, Scalable and Responsive System operates through a proprietary cloud-based platform and is compatible with any current infrastructure.

The robots can be installed in almost any warehouse, since they adapt to the warehouse and the existing infrastructure. Caja’s system also easily integrates through documented APIs with the customer’s Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Due to the highly scalable architecture (software, robots and workstations), Caja’s system can be deployed in a specific part of the warehouse and gradually be expanded according to customers’ needs. This flexibility allows the client to change the warehouse layout quickly and easily add additional parts, sections or warehouses as needed.

Caja’s system responds to sudden and unexpected challenges (unplanned peaks, force majeure, human failure, etc.) as it can easily be switched to manual picking and back to robotic picking in a matter of minutes.

Caja was founded with deep understanding of the needs of today’s changing warehouse and fulfillment market.

Since walking accounts for 60% of the picker’s time and 30% of warehouse labor cost, warehouses are looking for automated solutions that deliver goods to the picker.

Moreover, most warehouses desire an adaptable and flexible systems that can be installed into their real estate and without the need to change their existing infrastructure.
